Special Governor Calls Special Election

And by special I mean "special" like Ralph Wiggum on the Simpsons...

After months of childish threats and divisive Pete Wilson-esque rhetoric, Arnold called his special election. News traveled slowly in the Golden State as the "Governator" was pre-empted by the Michael Jackson verdict in most of the state. Once the people heard though, they weren't pleased. Eighty million dollars for a couple of Arnold's pet projects isn't what they had in mind when they put him in office.

The election will be more of a referendum on Schwarzenegger than anything else and if his measures lose badly, he may not even bother seeking re-election.

We'll give a run down of the eight ballot initiatives and where we stand in a few days.

I for one am sick and tired of Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has no business being in the position he is in. The election to recall you was another idiotic mistake of spoiled Californians who think this is McDonalds and they can have it their way.
So instead of sticking it out with a good governor, they take to easy way out and elect a novelty governor, not on his job track record or reputation, but on the fact he is a STAR and married to a Kennedy.
So, what do we get, lies, deceptions, funds cut from those who need it most... Heck I don’t se his family of partners in crime having to shop at the 99 cent stores and eating boxed, generic macaroni & cheese for days on end like the folks who needed that minimum wage increase. Happy Holidays to us!
And while our state is supposedly trying to save money and cut waste, he calls for a proven un-necessary special election, for issues which could have waited until our next scheduled election? It is OK for HIM to waste some 80 billion dollars, but do not let the lower income folks get a raise or health care they need, and to try to take away the unions and pensions of the very people paid to protect him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has got to go, and soon or our state will be beyond hope.
