Westly's Ad Goes on the Air

We called for it, and Steve Westly has now aired his first ad of the campaign year.

In our opinion, the Westly ad is much better than Phil Angelides'. Westly touts his past accomplishments and throws out some positions of his that resonate with California voters. He doesn't mention Schwarzenegger or Angelides by name which makes him come off as more confident. In contrast, the Angelides ad seems to whine about Schwarzenegger.

Frankly Phil, whining about Schwarzenegger is our job.

In your last post, you said Westley shoudl "get on the ball." Actually, the Westly ads were up first, and it was Phil who was forced to throw something up. Check out this post...

Looks like the front runner may have a race on his hands. He should have been better prepared.

I should have clarified a little better. I was responding in the order I saw the ads here in the LA market.
