Governor Flip-Flop

On Friday, in less than twelve hours, the "Governator" pulled a MAJOR flip-flop on a MAJOR conflict of interest.

Last week it was revealed that Arnold had a deal with two fitness magazines that could end up paying him $8 million over five years. Specifically the deal paid him 1% of the advertising revenue over that period of time. Where's the problem? Arnold vetoed a bill that would have restricted the ability of some of these advertisers to do business.

Friday morning, Arnold was standing firm. He refused to walk away from the lucrative deal, asserting there was no conflict of interest.

By dinner time he was singing another tune... That firm stance had turned to mush and Arnold agreed to give up the contract.

Nothing says integrity like standing your ground for half a day when you think you're right.
